Homework

Reading

Your child will get a new reading book every Monday but please do read a range of other story books and non-fiction with them at home. 

Spellings

Ideally we would like all our pupils to be able to spell of the Year 1 and 2 Common Exception Words. A wordlist can be found here. 

Writing

Once Upon a Picture has a range of photos to inspire children's writing (click here). Every picture has some questions to get the children thinking and they could write a response to the questions or their own story based on the picture.

Maths

Hit the Button maths games (click here).  Focus on number bonds to 10, 20 and 100, and Doubles to 20
