"Blossom" our Pets as Therapy Dog

Mrs Parker our Assistant Headteacher has a Labrador puppy called Blossom who will be trained as a Pets as Therapy Dog for use in our school.  Gloucester Road has always supported this charity and PAT dogs have been coming into school to support children who need confidence with their reading.

Pets As Therapy is a national charity founded in 1983. It is unique in that it provides therapeutic visits to hospitals, hospices, nursing and care homes, special needs schools and a variety of other venues by volunteers with their own friendly, temperament tested and vaccinated dogs and cats.

Blossom is young and still learning but she enjoys popping into school to get to know the environment and children.
