Pupil Governor Meeting 24/05/19

The pupil Governors have been meeting weekly. We have been raising money through holding competitions. The Cog competition is being judged today. Our winners will be able to choose their own prize from our prize box. Their Cogs will also be put up along the corridor. Thank you to all the pupils who entered. The winners will be announced in the assembly this afternoon.

At the moment we are helping to buy things for the school playgrounds to make them look better and colourful. We are looking at ways to make them more fun. If you have any ideas please let us know.

In our classes we have lots of different fun Topics like Super Hero’s, Plants, Iron Man, Poems and Year 6 have been doing SATS.

There has been a Magic Show, Trips and Swimming also happening this week.

Next week is Half Term. We will be off for one week. We return to school on the 3rd of June 2019.

Enjoy your week off and stay safe.

Last year one of the main projects was designing a new garden area encouraging pupils to vote on their preferences.  We have put the plans below for you to see and it is being put up in the school hall for pupils to vote. All Governor Members voted for the Rubber tree in the middle and a Potting Shed, Scarecrow, Flowerbeds, Toadstools, Bug Hotel, Timber Arch front with a Pencil Fence and Compost Bins.

This was the winning design.....
