The school has its own system for tracking Year 1, as moving from EYFS to national curriculum is not comparable.

Children at the end of EYFS are judged as being Emerging, Expected and Exceeding. They then move onto the Year 1 curriculum, children will have varying and different starting points. Term 1 teaching adopts the practices of EYFS. The points progress are made from when the children access and are taught Year 1 National Curriculum objectives.
