School Review
On Wednesday the 5th June, we invited a consultant, Caroline Musby, into school to conduct a review in preparation for the up coming Ofsted review that will take place in the near future. We are proud to share the summary of her visit with you:
- Leaders have implemented a carefully sequenced curriculum for phonics and maths which supports pupils to revisit and build their knowledge sequentially.
- When assessment is used well, all learners are supported to achieve the curriculum’s aims.
- Observations of learning and wider behaviour was largely positive.
- Pupils enjoy a wide range of extra-curricular activities. They are proud to hold leadership positions within the schools. They show a good understanding of protected characteristics.
She left us with some recommended actions that we will be working on immediately in order to continue our journey of continuous school improvement.
