Please contact the school office where your details will be passed to the leader. Parents/Guardians will be contacted. You will be offered a visit to look around the Nursery and meet the staff and also to fill in the relevant forms. Every effort is made to ensure that your child attend the sessions that you will require. Children are then provided with a starting date. Every effort is made to ensure that the process of your child starting Nursery is as smooth as possible.
Free 15 hours childcare
Every 3 and 4 year old is entitled to receive 15 hours free childcare funding per week (570 hours a year). Every child is entitled to receive this funding from the term after their third birthday and this will remain in place until the start of their Reception year at school.

If your child attends two settings you can choose to use your free hours at one setting or split the hours between the two. It is important to make sure the provider is aware of how you want to use your funding.
If you choose to pay for Nursery hours or your child attends more than the 15 hours free funding you will be charged at a rate of £3.50 per hour for children over 3.
Parents can choose from a full day and half days

11.45 am- 3pm this session includes lunch. Children will need to bring in their own packed lunches in a labelled container.
8:45 – 9.00 am Children arrive – Parents/Carers bring their children into Nursery and are welcomed. Parents can speak to staff informally.
9.00 – 9:15 am Register – News time, talk about the weather, day of the week, story of the week.
9.30 – 11:00 am Children have free flow play – children make choices on which activity they would like to do. The staff will give support and encouragement to the children so that they can extend their ideas. Adult guided activities will also take place and snack time.
11:00-11:10 am Tidy up time – children are encouraged to help tidy away by placing toys in boxes.
11:10 – 11.30 am Circle time –Circle time activity and Time to Talk.
11:30 – 11:45 am Songs and stories
12:00-1:00 Lunch Time
1:00 – 1:45 am Physical activity – music and movement, obstacle course, bikes, skittles and balls, parachute, etc.
1:45- 2:35 am Children have free flow play – children make choices on which activity they would like to do. The staff will give support and encouragement to the children so that they can extend their ideas. Adult guided activities will also take place and snack time.
2:45 Coats and goodbyes – the children are encouraged to collect their own coats and to put them on, help will be given where necessary. Collect their makes of the day, say goodbye to their friends with our goodbye song.
Snacks- Children are provided with a snack during the morning session. Parents are asked to pay a small contribution towards the snack.
During a Monday morning the children are asked what snack they would like during the week. The children then vote using the voting pebbles.
