Welcome to Friends of Gloucester Road Primary School page - FROGS

We are a group of volunteer parents, teachers and friends of the schools focused on creating something that not benefits our children who attend Gloucester Road Primary School, but also the children that will attend in the future. We are a relatively new association and are guided by the core objective from ParentKind : to advance the education of pupils in the school by:

• Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school
• Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils

Our ambition is to establish a sustainable, long, lasting legacy of annual fundraising for Gloucester Road Primary School (GRPS), ensuring resources are available to enrich the school experience for all pupils, year after year, A PTA beyond our children. 

We arrange a variety of activities which will help strengthen the school community and raise much needed funds for the school and our children at Gloucester Road Primary School.

We hold regular meetings throughout the year to help with planning and getting things set up. We are a friendly approachable group, and everyone is welcome to attend. We always welcome new faces and support. 

We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) once a year, which is an open forum for everyone to come along and understand more about the set-up of FROGS, how we work, what funds we have raised/spent and share new thoughts and ideas. We then elect for the official positions, Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.

If you would like to get involved or have a fundraising idea of your own, or feedback following an event, we would love to hear from you. Either by speaking with one of the committee directly or email us on, FROGS@gloucesterroad.sch.uk. 

We know that many of us have limited time to organise events, but you can easily help us in other ways as well by downloading EasyFundraising to raise money when making online purchases for lots of different retailers at no cost. Download the app and sign-up to earn money for our school every time you shop online with thousands of retailers.

FROGS Coffee Catch-up - Tuesday 5th May 2026 10:15am -11:00am in School hall.

This is a relaxed and friendly event where you can:

• Meet other parents and carers for a chat over a cup of coffee (and maybe a treat!)
• Find out what FROGS (Friends of Gloucester Road School) is all about
• Learn how we support the school and our children
• Discover ways you can get involved—whether you’d like to help out at events or support behind the scenes, there’s plenty to be done. 

 Everyone is welcome, including little ones. Whether you’re curious about volunteering, want to support your child’s school, or simply fancy meeting new faces, we’d love to see you there! We look forward to welcoming you! There might be cake to tempt you :)
