Curriculum

On this page you will find information on our school’s Curriculum.

At Gloucester Road Primary we have our bespoke DEEP Curriculum which runs from years 2-6 and our Early Curriculum which runs from Nursery to year 1.

Both Curriculums dovetail together to give our children the very best, high quality education. All of the pieces of learning are centred around carefully selected story and literature – it is at the heart of what we do. We also strongly focus on depth of knowledge (DOK) within National Curriculum subject areas and you will see in the plans how this is spaced over the year and a child’s life at our school so that new learning, repetition and consolidation over time leads to greater fluency.
